Unfortunately, due to low registration numbers, SkateJam is being postponed to a later date. We will post a new date soon so please keep checking back. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! We have heard so much positive feedback about this event, but without skaters registering to compete, we cannot make this happen! We absolutely do not want to disappoint anyone, and we're working hard to get things back on track to bring you an event that will be fun, action-packed, and memorable! Thank you!
This event is for all ages from Kindergarten to hip-replacement. If you can stand on a skateboard and think you're good enough to show off your skills, then we want to see you here!
There will be age specific times allocated for both the competition and the free-skate sessions so the little skaters stay safe and those who are more experienced can skate worry-free.
Can't skate? That's ok! Come watch the action and enjoy the live music!
SkateJam is, at its core, a skateboarding competition. We wanted to host an event for a very unique (but growing) community: SKATEBOARDERS!
Aside from the competition, there will be the opportunity for others to skate the ramps and just have a good time. The Free Skate will be open to anyone, and there will be live bands playing as well!
There will be pizza for sale by the slice and an assortment of drinks. You can come and hang out with friends and/or family all afternoon!
SkateJam is being put on and hosted by Copper Creek Christian Church in Maryville, IL. The event will take place in the parking lot behind the church building.
The church is located on the Emergency Room side of Anderson Hospital.
There will be designated parking areas to keep the skaters safe. Upon arrival, please follow the signage and those directing traffic. Thank you!
Again, due to low registration numbers, we will postpone this event until a later date. Reschedule date TBA.
If you are a parent of children from Kindergarten to 5th grade, you may be interested in our week of SkateCamp that will be held at the same location from June 13th - 17th. You can visit www.skatecamp.info for more details or to register. Thank you!
We love skateboarding! Knowing so many others do as well, we wanted to bring skateboard enthusiasts together from all over the metro-east and just have fun together for a day. We wanted to make this an all ages event because skateboarding has not only grown in popularity, but it has become a cross-generational sport! Boomers, Xer's, and Millenials all love to skate so why not skate together? Let's encourage the younger generation to love the sport as well! Together, we can build a stronger and larger local community around skateboarding! We're stoked to see you all at Copper Creek's (hopefully first of many) SkateJam!
