Rules and Guidelines
We are absolutely thrilled to have your child with us for SkateCamp! We hope that they will not only learn a lot, but make some new friends during this week-long skateboarding and rollerskating clinic. In order for things to function smoothly for us, we need cooperation not only from the kids but from parents as well. It is very important that you read this page carefully. We want to make participation possible for any kid who wants to be here. If your child doesn't own their own skateboard, skates, pads, or helmet, please contact us so that we can try to help. If money is preventing you from registering, please talk with us. We don't want anyone to miss out! We look forward to seeing you!
Please read the follow Rules and Guidelines very carefully as they pertain to the safety of your child, the safety of others, and the general operation of the the SkateCamp event to be held at Copper Creek Christian Church on the dates of June 11th - 16th, 2017. In order for your child to participate in this event, you will be required to acknowledge that you have read and understand all of the following text.
All parents/guardians who wish for their child/children to participate in SkateCamp will be required to read and sign a liability release waiver. A driver's license or photo ID will be required to verify your identity. If the parent/guardian of a minor cannot be present the day of the event, you may request to sign the waiver in advance. However, the signature on this waiver must be acknowledged by a public notary. Contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to request an advance waiver and a list of places where you can have your signature notarized.
Helmets will be required in order to participate. Protective equipment such as knee and elbow pads, wrist guards, braces, etc. are encouraged but not required to skate. If your child does not have a helmet, please let us know and we will do our best to provide one for them to use.
While Copper Creek Christian Church does have a very large parking lot, for your child's safety and the safety of others, we ask that all would refrain from skating anywhere outside of the designated skating area. Breaking this rule could result in having to sit out for the day.
SkateCamp is a community event, and we would like for it to be a friendly environment for everyone. Let's be considerate of each other in order that everyone may have an enjoyable experience!
Property: Destruction of the church's property will not be tolerated. Please be respectful and dispose of trash in designated containers. Refrain from skateboarding outside of the skate area. Sidewalks and fixtures surrounding the church are not designated for use with skateboards. Please respect these restrictions.
We thank you for reading through the Rules and Guidelines. Again, we thank you for your cooperation. You may register HERE or on the main page by clicking the "Register" button.
